  • National Identity Card
  • Residential/ Work Permit
  • Driving Licenses

In the future, the GAMBIS project plans to involve:

  • Passports
  • Visas
  • Birth Certificates
  • Mariage Certificates
  • Death Certificates

Why has queue management improved at the GAMBIS sites?

In the Gambia, as is the case in many countries in the sub-region, managing a queue can be a very daunting task. Jumping a queue is not considered a taboo unlike the western set up. One just needs a contact or be ready to provide financial inducement in order to be given preferential treatment. GAMBIS, like any other organization, suffered the same syndrome but managed to positively recover from it.
